Pentecost Bonfire

The bonfire after the 5pm vigil mass for Pentecost this Saturday has been CANCELED due to the rainy forecast.

Second Collection

There will be a 2nd collection after mass this weekend to help defray the cost of the ICU hospitalization of Joseph Katongole, the father of Fr. Herman.

Parish Work Day on Saturday, May 30th

From 9am to well into the afternoon:  ALL HANDS are needed to come out and clean up and beautify our parish grounds, inside and out.  Men, women, and children are welcome.  Please come for an hour or two or the whole day!  See Dan Bowen if you have any questions.

Ladies' Tea Sunday, May 31st

Tea will be from 2pm - 4pm at Moonlight Manor (136 Old Fields Rd Sw, Floyd, VA 24091):  All ladies (children of all ages and adults) are invited.  Please RSVP HERE so that we are sure to have enough tea cups!  Please plan to bring a plate of finger foods to share.

Corpus Christi Procession, June 6

"Behold the lamb of God, behold Him who takes away the sins of the world."

On June 6th, after holy Mass we will have our annual Corpus Christi procession. This will be a 1.7mile loop that begins and ends with our church entrance. Please remember to bring comfortable walking shoes and perhaps a bottle of water. We will have a van following the crowd for anyone who may need assistance during the walk or whoever wants to participate but is unsure about committing to the walk. After the procession, we will have a potluck on the church grounds so bring a dish to share, a serving utensil, and camping chairs or picnic blankets.

The faith of our fathers is living still!
